Verified Rank
A verified rank is the actual position a page holds in a real, live Google search — for one specific keyword, country, and moment — rather than an average estimated from impressions.
Where average position is calculated from Search Console's own impression data, a verified rank comes from actually running the search and reading the result — the same way a person searching from that country would see it.
The tradeoff is cost: a live search costs more to run than reading data Google already reports for free, which is why verified checks are usually a paid feature and average position is free everywhere.
